Terms of Service

Who we are

Gracebot ("the Service") is operated by Enid Labs LLC, a California limited liability company ("we", "us"). Contact: business@gracebot.io.

What the Service is

Gracebot is an AI-powered entertainment service. "Grace" is an artificial-intelligence character — not a real person — that you can chat with by text or talk to by voice and phone. Conversations are generated by AI and are provided for entertainment purposes only. Nothing Grace says is professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Credits

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. If you enable auto-reload, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method automatically when your balance falls below your chosen threshold; you can turn auto-reload off at any time on the Buy Credits page.

Acceptable use

Your Grace number and call forwarding

If you choose to add a Grace number, we assign you a dedicated US phone number and you configure your own mobile carrier to forward calls to it. You decide whether to turn forwarding on, and which of your calls it applies to. You represent that you are the subscriber of, or are otherwise authorised to configure call forwarding on, the line you forward from.

Forwarding is not selective. Your carrier cannot tell a scammer from anyone else, so every call you forward will be answered by Grace — including calls from people you did want to hear from, if they happen to reach your line while it is busy or declined. Please do not forward a line that receives calls you cannot afford to miss, and do not forward a business line, a shared line, or a line belonging to someone else. Your carrier may bill forwarded calls against your own plan minutes; that is between you and your carrier.

You can turn forwarding off at any time from your handset using your carrier's cancellation code, and you can release your Grace number by contacting us.

Recording of forwarded calls

Calls that reach your Grace number are answered by our systems and may be recorded and transcribed so that you can review them. Recordings and transcripts are private to your account, are never published, and are deleted automatically after 14 days.

To be clear about who does what: we operate the recording — Enid Labs LLC is the party making and storing the recording, not you. This section is an agreement between you and us, and nothing in these terms constitutes consent by anyone who calls you. Laws on recording phone calls vary by state, and some states require the consent of every party to a call. By enabling forwarding you confirm that you have considered the law that applies where you and your callers are located and that you accept responsibility for your decision to route your calls to the Service. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your forwarding of a line you were not authorised to forward, or of a line you knew received calls from people who would object to being recorded.

If a call was recorded that should not have been, contact business@gracebot.io and we will delete it. You can also switch recording off for your number at any time in your account, and still use Grace to answer calls.

Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated responses can be inaccurate or unpredictable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above will change and continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
